Minister of Education Proposes Extending NYSC Service to Two Years
In a recent development, Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa, has proposed extending the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program from its current one-year duration to two years. Dr. Alausa made this recommendation during a meeting with the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, in Abuja.
